The wires on the engine are tan/w black stripe. The buzzer under the helm will have a purple wire going to it and the tan/black wire would attach to the other terminal.
The tan/black wires attach to the switches and when activated completes the ground.
There should be a green/w yellow stripe wire in the harness also, but it's not used.
