i have a johnson 88 that the tilt is running, i can hear it going up and down, but the motor isn't moving. it is in the up position now. my buddy told me that i should check the rings inside the tilt piston, and to let it down with the manual release screw on the mount. should i do that first and does anyone have a pdf of the manual for this engine, 2000 johnson 88 spl.
