if i remove the three bolts just above the prop, will drop the complete lower unit.
thanks for any help.

I'm not real sure about the smaller inline 4's, but the bigger inline 4's and the inline 6's, there is one nut in the very front above the lower unit, 2 (One on each side) above the lower unit, 2 (One on each side) above the prop and one under the trim tab.
