2009 278 Four winns electrical questions

just purchased a 2009 278 four winns with 80 hrs on the boat and looking for thoughts on solving a few electrical problems
- windless works great from the helm , but the deck controls will not work,
- remote spot light will not work, have checked fuse in main panel
- main electrical panel in cabin the error light is flashing

have someone attempt to work the light from the helm, you put your ear to motor area on the light if you hear the motors attempting to operate the gimbals and gears then it's a mechanical problem at the light itself. If you dont hear anything then you are not getting current to the light.

also check to see if the deck controls are connected to the windless..sometimes owners just use the helm controls and some allow you to choose with a switch either helm or deck. At least that is the way ive seen one windless system work.

I have a 2007 Four Winns Vista 278 fitted with a Guest 30 Amp Galvanic Isolator model# 2433. It seems that a continuous red light on the main panel indicates a fault internal to the Galvanic Isolator. However, a blinking red light indicates that the shore power is disconnected, as it will always be when you are away from the dock.
