Just like anything else, "Quality survives the test of time". Select a marine vendor that has been in the business for a long time and go with him. Today we have this fabulous thing the www where you can ask all kinds of questions and get all kinds of answers before you buy.
I am not going to recommend a mfgr. You decide on your own what you want to buy.
