1970? Mercury 4.5 hp motor needs a water pump housing. And a water pump as well. Anyone know of a good online source I may be able to get one from? Ty

Yeah, parts are out there. You can get the impeller here at I-Boats no problem. The housing may take some digging on the net though. Here's a good place to start for the housing: http://www.marineengine.com/ I've got one of these buzzers and I've been able to find any part I've needed. Serial numbers are VERY (un-like OMC) important when looking up Merc parts, so go get the S# and start diggnig. If you hit a brick wall get back to me.
EDIT, Looks like you can buy a 'kit' with everything you need here at I-Boats. Get your serial number in hand before you order though. http://www.iboats.com/mall/partfind...&gd_poid=111002&gd_row=3&**********=449389992 First year for 4.5s was 1975.
