just bought a new boat with a merc 40 four stroke jet went out on the river it fired right up and took off but after a feww hundred yards up the river it bogged out and when i tried tostart it back up it would run for a few seconds and shut back off ..im thinking it was bad fuel from last year even know it had stabil added i have no idea how to drain the the fuel system...i already went and got new gas but it does the same thing any suggestions please help!!!!!
