Got the boat running good, then the trailer wiring was fried. Took care of that this morning, then went and filled the tank. Gonna take it to the lake tomorrow for it's first time in the water 3 years. I will take some pics, hopefully of it above water! Wish me luck!

That is a good looking combination. funny you say that, I am rewiring my trailer today too. I hope to get my SS in the water soon. Gotta love the gas can lined up in the bed.

Well, got it in the water...it started and ran......until I got passed the No Wake bouy's....gave it throttle an all I could get was 20mph at 2000rpms........ugh.....something is still wrong and I'm running out of ideas. But i did get proof that it was infact on the water and was moving!

I don't recall if you worked with the carb yet but it sounds to me like it's a clogged high speed jet in the carb, especially if it starts and then idles fine.

My .02 cents
