hi there, ive recentley bought a glastron gt150 with a mercury 500 redband 50hp outboard, the motor starts up well and sounds good, but not pumping water
and the gear selector is either not ajusted correctly or faulty.
ive looked at a few posts here about the impeller and gear selector problems and was wondering if anyone knew of any links showing how to take the bottom end off, clean the system etc.. and the crucial, getting it back together again!
also where can i get parts for this?
i'm a bit new to outboards, this is a little more complex than my seagull 4hp but want to have a go as the local boat shop said they dont do antiques!
