Restoring '67 Nauset

Hello.

I've completed running the throttle cables and ran the engine, 1993 Evinrude 100hp, when I throttle up it doesnt come back down. I have to physically adjust it from the engine itself. I'm guessing misadjusted teleflex cables?

Without the engine running, if you advance the throttle and then pull it to idle does the linkage come back to the stop, if not you need to adjust the cable.
