Lost rudder control. Have plenty of power steering fluid, no leaks. Wheel spins freely. This is a twin screw 28 foot blackfin. Please if you have any idea what it could be would you please let me know. Thanks all!

Re: No steering

Not possible. You have a leak somewhere or the steering ram came loose from the tiller. or the ram broke free of its mount. Or what you are saying is NOW you have plenty of fluid after you filled it up and it is full or air.

Re: No steering

You have twin screws, you hardly need steering.

Seriously, it is an inboard? With cable steering or hydraulic? Is the cable still attached to the rudder arm in the bilge?

Ya im going to go with the steering ram came loose from the tiller or the ram broke free of its mount. I was pulling out of my slip and I have only taken the boat out twice, i bottomed out on a mud flat and just lost all steering. Thank you for your input hopefully I can find the problem.
