This is the 1st Chrysler I have had so I'm not quite sure what is to be expected. When running in a barrel and on the water, the output from the quasi double telltale (two holes on the back of the leg, mid way down) is warm and transitions to hot. There is an appreciable output of water from the telltale. The head is also pretty hot as well, not so hot that it burns you but pretty hot. I have no idea when the impeller was changed so that is going to be replaced, but is it abnormal that the water comming from the telltale is that hot. I am not sure if this motor has a thermostat....it isn't right in from of me right now, but could it cause this situation?

Wow I tried running my 125 force outboard once in a barrel and oops i'll never do that again. Had to get the muffs and smooth sailing after that.
