I am having troubles with my 77 crysler 105hp outboard model 1059bg, it will run great for a couple hours then just quit and have no spark then 10 minutes later it will fire right up and run great, could this be the Motorola ignition moduel model 6cb2012b or what else? also how do I time it and to what specs?

Thanks, Kyle

Re: Crysler trouble

Kyle...use a hair dryer or heat gun to heat the three components of ignition one at a time(distributor, coil, cd unit) to isolate problem. Be careful not to overheat and kill anything. If you had a manual, Seloc is good for this, I wouldn't have to write one that you couldn't understand. Timing at wot is 32, but I would set it at 28-30 btdc due to the quality of fuel we get these days. just a Thought

I've been wondering, what does "wot" mean timing wise?

Thanks
