Hi all,
I having some trouble here (i think), I just purchased an old aluminum 12' Montgomery Ward Sea King boat. I wana get it registered so I can put a motor on it but I cant find a year # or serial # anywhere on it. It has a model # and load cap. rating plate on the transom but thats it. I live in NY and was wondering if I can even register it without that information? Is there some hidden place it might be? or did it even come with a serial #, I beleive it was made in the late 60s.

Thanks

Ayuh,.... Being from the days before NYS was issuing Titles,...
You need a signed off, transferable registration, from the previous owner....

Otherwise, yer probably SOLuck...
