New member - question regarding Jan 2006 Mercruiser 3.0L

I would like to know which manual I need to service the engine. I pulled #26 down however the thermostat information does not match what I have. The serial # for my engine is 0W602415 (the first digit appears to be a zero). Thanks for your assistance.

26 is the proper manual. What thermostat information is not matching?

Thanks for the assistance Don, I do now believe it's the correct manual, but the style of thermostat housing shown on page 6A-5 of #26 is not the same as mine. The one I have is shown on page 6A-12 (the unit on the right side). I want to test the thermostat but cannot seem to remove the plastic piece (shown between C and D) - I've applied PB-Blaster hoping it will loosen up ...any suggestions?
