70 hp evinrude 1990 on 18 ft McKee - under powered some. WOT is 5200 rpm.
With 4 or 5 in boat going 4500 rpm engine will run 10 15 minutes then bogs, and continues to miss even at idle. Must turn off motor for 30 or so seconds, and restart to get smooth running. Will then run for another 10 to 15 min, and does it again.
With two persons, and no gear - took mechanic out to show problem, it runs fine. Thanks in advance for your help.
