Replacing prop question, Merc 125hp

So I am pretty new to boating. Took out the boat a few weeks ago, and ended up grinding down my prop a bit. Live and learn.

My question:
I removed the prop, as the boat came with another used on. If you look at my attached image, the prop on the left is the prop that just came off, and the one on the right is the old one I planned on replacing it with. The old one doesnt seem to be the same, although I know it was from this boat! It doesnt have the little "teeth" thingees that the retaining clip for the bolt uses!

Is this prop missing a piece? Does the old prop not use a retaining clip (seems unlikely)?

Do I just have to deal and go buy a new prop?

Thanks for the advice.
Pierre

if the prop fits it should work fine, but you should consider a SS prop, both of those appear to be pretty worn.

Not missing anything, just two diff manufactures. X2 on the new prop as well, those do look fairly worn.
