Engine runs rich and rough in idle and sometimes cuts out but runs great at speed. What adjustments can I do. I have some motor skills having owned inboards amd motorcycles.

Change the plugs, clean the carbs and change the fuel filter(s). If you don't have a service manual get the OMC factory manual do not by a Seloc or Cylmers they are useless. Also you change out the water pump and check the thermostats if they haven't been done.
