Bypass port, HELP

I have a 1954 Rude 25 hp bigtwin and want to convert to a fuel pump, what year and model would have a pre-tapped fuel pump ready bypass port that would fit my 1954 bigtwin ? I took one from a 1957 bigtwin 35 it was to big, if anyone knows where I mite purchase on pls lmk,

In the "Top Secret File", there is a list of salvage yards, maybe one of them can help you out.

I don't think there was ever a pump ready cover for the 25/30 models. I've only ever seen the boss on the 35 & up covers. You'd have to fashion something onto yours...

Thanks' I'm thinking you are spot on, I have looked all over the net, youtube, etc. and I have not found it, I did find an article where a fellow took the back off his older style fuel pump and tapped it so the hole which would be up against the block became a 1/8" nipple & then he installed it just like a mikuni pump. I'm leaning toward trying this. If it works I'll let everyone know.
