1976 Evinrude

Hello have a 70hp evinrude slow at take off like its starved for fuel. Have # 35 jets on low idle side wondering what # i could use to help with take off. Good compression and spark.

Whens the last time the fuel pumps were rebuilt?

Never that i know of. Should start there? Should i change out jets for altitude? Thanks for your help

Check with your local dealer, they will have a chart for the proper jet sizes for different altitudes.
