I am at a dead end trying to locate parts for a '83 25 hp Mercury carb. The carb is a Tillotson BC1C, and trying to find a inlet needle and seat is impossible. I am reaching out to you knowlegable people to ask if there is some replacement carb available...I have searched till my head is about to explode. I have found some sites that give a replacement, but they too are discontinued...ugh!! The engine runs like new an I hate to buy a new one over a darn needle and seat!
OBTW, I was told the needle was replaceable with a # 38-3644, so I ordered that kit from MFG Supply and it does not appear to be the same.?
