Hey guys..

I have milky oil in my Bravo 1 bottle. I am bringing in water through a leak in the drive. My outdrive doesnt have a visable drain plug... Is it visable with the prop off? Also, the boat has Thru Hull with a Y headed down for the Thru Prop. Well, the exhaust boot on the drive is off...would that have anything to do with water ingestion?

Thanks again,

Joe

Drain plug is visible when you remove the prop. Exhaust boot would have NO effect on water entering the outdrive.

You know, the oil "sludges up" in those bottles, if you don't drain it every year, and you are using Mercruiser's outdrive oil? Are you sure it's not just sludge you are seeing?
