Anyone know how to remove/replace bottom cover on head unit? It seems like it would be simple but that's not the case. Bottom cover is riveted through shaft and top parts (spindle gear, etc) would prevent it from coming off top. Seems like shaft needs to be disassembled a bit. Help appreciated, will pay it forward....

I was hoping to get some feedback on this to make the job easier. I guess I'll have to figure it out and provide the feedback myself. I've seen 2 others on the web trying to figure this out and there was never a resolution either. For sure Motorguide should suffer a few sales due to this design and the lack of info available...
