I have a 1994 Evinrude 50 on an 18 ft. Lowe pontoon. It hasn't ran well most of this season, after running some Sea Foam in the fuel, performance improved. Today it started but would not accelerate. When I looked at the motor, fuel was leaking out the rear of the of the engine compartment. I took the cover off and the fuel was coming from under the rectangular box on the for (front) side of the engine. It was a round stream of fuel, like a bypass hole or fuel line.

It's leaking out your air silencer cover? Pull the cover off and have a look behind it and you will see the carb. inlets. Perhaps the fuel is spitting out the carbs.? If your going to try to run it keep a fire extinguisher close at hand. Best of luck. Rick.
