Proper 2 cycle outboard oil?

Hey Guys, I have a silly question? I have a 1992 40 hp Mariner outboard that is oil injected and was wondering if I could put Johnson\Evinrude 2 cycle oil in the oil tank?? It says it is XD30 and it is pink in colour. The oil that I have in my outboard is dark blue and is a different brand of 2 cycle motor oil. What can I do ??? Sorry I am a little slow today! :p

If it is rated TC-W3 it is proper carbed 2 stroke outboard oil. Fancy brand names dye it different colors so they have an excuse to double the price.
