Howdy all Im new here and im lookin for advise ? I recently purchased a 79 35 hp johnson at lake this weekend it started making a high pitched squealing noise it still fires up and runs I shut it off and didnt run it anymore it sounds like a bearing to me this motor was suppose to have a fresh build but it doesnt show signs any ideas where to start I am no marine mechanic but have built many v8 and two stroke motors in the past bieng fairly confident in my mechanical skill I dont want to get in over my head any advice would be greatly appreciated
