Help - Oil leaking from end of dipstick fitting into pan fitting on 5.0 Volvo/Penta..

Changed oil using the dipstick vacuum..no leaks before changing oil...uu

Now leaks/drips continuously into the boat, even when not running..

went to the local dealer and took the pieces with me...they do not even show an o-ring in their books where the dipstick meet the fitting.

Does not show anything in the fitting on their books?

Volvo/Penta 5.0 Engine.

There was an o ring of some sorts that came out of piece, but books show nothing...the old o-ring was very thin and ruined...

We tried using a std o-ring but no luck..dip stick still feels kind of loose in the fitting.

Part # or diagram? Any Ideas?

How about posting the full model number of your engine or the volvo serial number so we know which engine to look at. The 5.0 have been used for 40 years with all kinds of dipstick tubes.
