boat wont plane with kids in back

Hi all
very new to boating here but anyway, i bought a 14ft speedboat with a 84 evinrude 70 vro running on a mix or 50-1 in the tank. problem is when there is just 2 in the front of the boat it planes quickly and flies along but as soon as the kids (4 young girls) get in the back it bogs down and wont plane, the engine sounds like its struggling and will only push the boat along, remove the kids and it flies along. any ideas ?:confused:

Sounds like you need to put the trim down a notch or maybe 2

A 14-footer with a 70 is probably pitched pretty high on the prop. With a load in the back you're now trying to tow a trailer, starting off in 5th gear. Either get the girls to move forward when planing or drop down in prop pitch a couple inches...
