Newbie to this forum, guys.
I have a 1999 200 Optimax counter-rotation. I think I have a bad lower unit. Removed the prop and and it looks fine on the back. Shift into gear, turn the prop and it sounds like all hell is breaking loose inside.
My question: Assume my lower unit is bad. Can I put a non-counter-rotating "leg" on my power head? Or must I get a counter-rotating lower unit?
Also, I think I know this already, but aren't the "legs" interchangeable on EFI and Opti's?
