While taking the kids tubing, we were whipping them around by making steep banked s-turns. I didn't get an alarm, but the oil pressure seemed really low. I shut it down, and pulled the dipstick. Of course, I knew the oil level would be low, but I could barely see it on the dipstick. I had some oil, so I added a little, and took it easier for the rest of the day. Now, of course, after everything is cooled down, the level is about 1" above max on the dipstick.
Has anyone else experienced a sharp oil pressure drop during continuous steep turns? (I think it was a problem in the first Porsche Boxsters.)
How high above max oil level have folks run the 4.3 without problems?
