90 hp mercury installing problem

The engine idles but at mid range it acts like its starving for gas but will stall unless throttle is brought back to idle and is flooding. i think electrical problem, any ideas??

How about something to base a reply upon. How about looking at the stickies at the top of this forum and help us to help you.............. I happen to have a late model 90 hp 2 stroke Merc so I know something about what they like.

Clogged high speed jet? I'll never run my tank low again.

Pump the fuel primer bulb. If that fixes it, you likely have a weak fuel pump. If not it could be dirty carbs.

What kind of RPM can you get out of it before it dies? What year motor?
