What spark plug should i use in my motor it has champion J6C in it now?

I think the engine came with J4C, but if you do a lot of trolling or low speed operation, use the J6C.

The instructions on motor call for J6J, i will troll or travel from spot to spot. Or is there a better plug to use than the J6C? thanks

hey tbone, how are things coming along with your project? both my motors, the non working 56 5.5 and the great working 57 5.5 have the champion j6c plugs in them. ....installed by previous owners.

The J6's should work fine for you.

ok thanks j6c it is, i'm about to order my coils, and ignition tune up kit then i have bought everything i need. I should start next week if my parts arrive. I will post my progress in a new thread.
