can anyone help me ... lol .. got this motor 9 years ago from my grandfather, he got it from bc hydro i havent had it in the water he cant remember if he did or not .. old age .. im trying to get it started and dont know the first thing about it . well i hooked up the battery and ear muffs turned on the water and only can get a click out of it . when trying to start it . i turned it over by hand so know its not seized. HELP . PLS

find the solonoid, jump across the 2 big post, one has big red wire from battery, the other post has big red wire to starter, you can jump it with 2 screw drivers or a pair of pliers

Clicks usually mean the battery is low or the starter is bad.
Are you using battery cables or jumper cables?

no, i was insinuating you might have a bad solonoid, and was telling you how to test it, if it cranks when you do this then the starter is good, the battery is good, and you solonoid will be bad,, normally , a weak battery will make the solonoid chatter

battery is new and i have it on a jumper box .soloniod jump was good starter is good . clicking noise is coming from a black box on the left side middle of motor .

i get just one click when tring to use the key .. from that box on the left
