Looking to buy used Grady White...

I'm a new boater and looking to buy a boat. I came across this 1981 Grady White Pacific 221, 230 HP. I just think the price is a litte steep for the year, $5500, I have not seen anything but the exterior of the boat as of yet, but she looks good. I plan to check the rest of it out very soon.

Any comments, tips, advise(good or bad) would be apreiciated.

Good hulls are not cheap and they don?t go bad with age.

If the hull is in good condition, $5500 is very reasonable for a sound 22' Grady hull. I sold my 1986 204C (20 foot) 4 years ago in less than a week for $10K.

To put things into perspective, the MSRP on a new Grady 22 is pushing $100K
