I am very budgeted, so won't be doing an insane overhaul on day one. Just acquired what I believe is a 79 Sea Ray. I have been trying to hunt for a VIN plate, which of course leads you to clearing out wasp nests haha.
The boat isn't what some people would fall in love with, but I did.
I will look up the serial # when I can find it (someone posted links in my thread about my father's boat, thank you!! )
Question is, when you're dealing with a boat that's been sleeping beauty and you don't know the history at all (owner passed away), where's step one?
I want to see if I can get it running.
