Needles are probably stuck in the carbs. If you don't run it out of fuel every time you use it, in less than a week the ethanol in this crap fuel we have will swell the rubber ends of the float needles. Remove your bowls, if they're dry, you found your problem. You can confirm if you buy some outboard starting fluid, if it fires on that, you have no fuel in the carb. BTW, you're not supposed to use plain starting fluid since it has no lube in it like a 2 stroke needs.

I had the same problem with my 1996 115 hp mercs two days ago. Cranks strong but wont start after running awsome. have no spark at all four plugs. I disconnected the black wire with yellow stripe to eliminate the emergency shut-offs. (A recommendation) Where can I go from here?
