what type of exterior grade plywood do I use for transom?

Plan is to glue and screw together 2 pieces of 3/4 ext. grade...is there different kinds?..also want a nice grain on one side as it wont be painted...its going on an old 15 ft Starcraft jet with no splashwell...

Auruco ply is nice, decent price and I think it has a nice grain. It should be coated with a couple coats of epoxy resin to help seal out moisture. BUT epoxy itself wont protect it from uv rays.

Arauco is a good product. If you want it Natural Coat with epoxy then use Cabot's Marine varnish. It has UV protection. Minimu 3 coats. I'd do 5. That way you won't have to do it again for a LOOOOOOOOONNNNG time.;)
