40hp merc force 2 stroke voltage regulor that is installed shows only one red lead coming from it further inspection it has ahole where a second lead has been removed and a plastic pin put into it's spot. My question is this i looked at the wiring set up and normally the two red leads go to the same location is there a need for two leads and if so why would mine have only one
