Bimini size for 18' Starcraft SS...pic request

Hello all...I am going to order a Bimini for my boat. I have decided on sunbrella fabric and measured the width at 74" and it will be 6' long.

But I can't decide on the height. I am leaning towards a 36" height for cosmetic reasons and the fact that I am only 5'8".

Can you all post some pics of 36 or 46 high bimini on your starcraft?

Hey bunker, go with an 8 foot with 46" to 56" hieght. I just put the 8' on mine and actually wish it was little longer. Mine is 56" tall and I am 5'10" and it gives me about
6" above my head.

I'm pretty sure mine is a 46" high one. Definitely 6'.

About what did that bimi top cost ya dozer? It looks GREAT by the way! I have two little ones and the sun can get to them after a couple hours, be nice to have!

I would like to know what you paid as well. My top is still the original that snaps to the windshields. It's looks sporty but it's too low.

Well I think Chuck was more specifically interested in dozer's 8 footer. Course I also didn't notice that Chuck was not the OP so the OP may want to see where I got my real cheap 6 footer.

Good information here. I'm considering a bimini for the admiral. EZ, that site looks interesting. Do you keep the bimini up when you are running?

At slower speeds you can. I don't like the side to side wobble above 30MPH.

Thanks everyone. I went ahead and ordered a Westland with sunbrella fabric from here on iboats. 36"H 6'L and 73-79" wide. I measured 74" to mounting points. I will let you know when I get it mounted. My budget is about gone on this project now though. I should be real close after going through the trailer and painting the hull.

Of course I'm interested EZ! Dozer just had shown his off was all :) (Note: You hadn't posted your reply yet as I was typing mine). Where did you get "super cheap"?? I only saw $300+ on that site EZ!? :eek

EDIT: See cheaper $180.00 models further down now...is that what you picked up EZ?

Mine was $129 from their eBay store last fall. Got a cover from them at the same time and am pleased with both for the price.
