Hello,I have a power pack that I bought for my 1988 70hp evinrude, turns out I have a 1985 70hp evinrude.
The numbers on the power pack is CD3 583143 OA 6U 26 , it is an OMC part.
Can I use this on my 1985?

Looking at all the specs, the only difference is the four-wire connector is different between the two powerpacks. Can you exchange the one you have for the correct one? Otherwise, if it were me I would change out the connectors that are different. The wires and pins can be removed from the rubber plug bodies, then reinstalled.
