In an earlier thread i was told that my shift fork, clutch dog or forward gear could be worn and that is why my little outboard wont stay in forward gear. It keeps slippiing back into neutral.
When i look at those parts they look fine, other than 40 or 50 years of normal wear. There is nothing broken that i can tell. Which one should i replace first or should i replace them all?
Where would a guy like me look for such parts, are they readily available from parts stores or marinas or special order through some internet based supplier.
thanks for you help
