Hey my 2008 Yamaha F 150 outboard is making a whistling sound when i have it idling and when it is moving slow through the no wake zone. It sounds like a vacuum hose is loose. It will not make the noise when the engine is out of the water. After running the engine for a while it will stop making the noise. I want to take this boat off shore but now a little worried that i might have a problem. I just had the engine seasoned, new fluids and filters. Im wondering if this is what happens before the water pump goes out. i did notice a little sand through out the inside of the engine when i took the cover off. Dont know how it could of got there... well i look forward to your comments...thanks
