Good morning all, as the title mentions I have a 1979 55hp Johnson Sea Horse.
When I picked up the motor, it came with two props (neither was installed). Im trying to install a prop for use, but am unsure about one thing. There is a two tiered washer that seems to go behind the prop, but should there be another washer (thrust washer?) between the prop and the nut? It didnt come with one, so Im not sure. If one is in fact needed, could I just use a regular washer that fits properly, or do I have to shell out the $30 for an actual thrust washer?
