My motor had some apparent fuel issues. The fuel line from the tank to the motor was flaking of internally probably from the use of ethanol gas. According to my owner's manual, you can use up to 10% ethanol in my motor. The fuel tank and hose was much older than 2005. I replaced the primer bulb, made sure the filter was clean, purchased a new tank, fuel line and squeeze bulb and made sure fuel was flowing out of the filter when I would squeeze the bulb. Could there be a fuel pump obstruction from the bad fuel hose? It still appears that no fuel is getting to motor. Can I pull the pump off? What should I check for? I just purchased the motor and the previous owner started it with no problem when I looked at it.
