Maybe a little more idle speed?

I have a 2003 Merc 50 2 stroke. Cranks right up when cold...idles a little slow I think in gear (shudders...but never stalls) ISSUE: When we run the boat and stop to fish or float to get the motor running again I have to advance the throttle in neutral to a fast idle to get it to start (it will not start in a normal idle throttle position), once it starts I can pull it back to normal throttle position and it idles ok.

Need a little more idle/timing??
