on a old log style manifold one side has a plate between two gaskits that blocks all the holes off ther is a small pin hole in it is the only hole.the othe side between the riser and manifold is just a gaskit with all the holes open to each part. to me this looks right. whats the plate and should it be ther. never ran the boat or had this kind of manifold before. its a 1977 with a 305 chevy. also thers a crack in the manifold should i keep this style or go with a newer style.
