polish your boat?

whats the best wax to use for bayliner boat or fiberglass? had been sittin a while was real dirty i used a spray cleaner to get mildew off but now it looks dull

I've seen some products now at walmart for just that purpose. I've noticed in my travels around the country that they have a marine section in their stores now.

i noticed on bottom of boat real hard stuff scrapes off like dust

You probably have bottom paint on it that was applied by a previous owner who kept the boat in a slip. Not much you can do about that except strip it, sand it, or live with it.

I found Yacht Bright products work great, for rubbing out the finish I use Yacht Brights Buff Majic then Yacht Brights Pro Polish.. The Polish has sealers that outlast wax. Sealing the paint from the elements is what is important to keep the gel coat from fading.. I tried it for the first time this year and it worked awesome, going on three months and I still have water beading on the finish.
