I am new to the forum, a novice boater, and not much of a mechanic. I am having problems with my 1995 Mercury 115. On any given day the merc will power up fine, get up on plane, and run full throttle at 30 plus knots with no apparent stress or strain. On that same day it may choose to bog down when given full throttle, then slowly throttle up and gain enough speed to get up on plane. Or it may choose to run full throttle, cranking out RPM's, but provide just enough power to point the bow in the air and slowly move down the river. I have an '95 SeaPro 1800CCPlease keep the first sentence of this post in mind when replying.
