I have a 97 4.3 gl flkd two barrel
Had it winterized last year and since first run this year the boat stalls when the choke comes off. Does not matter if I am on the lake at full speed or at the dock at idle.
When it dies it just slows down quickly and quits and restarts starts easy and no black smoke. Runs fine for the rest of the day, (unless I shut down for hour or two)
Seams to be running lean maybe?
Thinking of adjusting choke to the rich side?
It does need new cap and rotor
Any thoughts were best to start ?
