Checking stator resistance

I need to check the resistance in my stator.Do i check this with the key on or with it off?Thanks for your help

For ohm readings you always check with no power. Key off. Best of luck. Rick.

And disconnect all the wires

I just got back from checking and it was 630.How ever i did not disconnect the wires from the pp.
